Samsung announcing their new Gear VR with a controller

Samsung announcing their new Gear VR with a controllerThis year at the MWC, Samsung has announced many new devices and handsets. Alongside the new tablets, the company has also unveiled their new Gear VR handset, and this time it is coming with a controller. This headset is powered by Oculus, so you can play all of your favorite Oculus games on the new Gear VR.

The controller is actually the big deal here. It features a curved design that can allow the user to control it with one hand. It also features better motion interaction with minimized head movement, which makes the gaming more comfortable. From the buttons, we have Home, Volume and Back keys which are located on the controller. There is also a secure grip that makes even more easier to play. If you are afraid that you may throw the controller away, there is a wristband to keep it close to you and make sure you don’t make any trouble.

There are also some changes for the Gear VR as well. Here we can mention the 42mm lenses with 101-degree Field of View. There is also an advanced distortion correction technology that helps minimizing the motion sickness. The motion sickness is really a big issue when it comes the VR gaming. That’s why the distortion correction is really big deal as well for this Gear VR.

The headset also comes with both micro USB and USB-C connectors. As for the compatibility, it currently works with high-end Samsung devices. This includes the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge and S6 Edge+, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.
