Blackberry has just released it first android powered smartphone called as the blackberry priv and reviews are pouring in that the phone is an excellent android device that puts privacy in its top priority list. Before the excitement died down came a leak suggesting that blackberry will release a second smartphone soon. With this continues onslaught, will blackberry take the crown from samsung as the most exciting android smartphone maker?
Well for starters, the blackberry priv is one of the most secure android phone with stronghold monitoring app like the DTEK that constantly guards the phone from snooping and unwanted agents. The name blackberry stands for security and privacy in the smartphone world.
But there is one more advantage for blackberry, its excellent physical qwerty keyboard that was to die for in the pre-smartphone era. The Canadian company may not sell in volumes that is only possible for Samsung but it could provide a mesmerizing smartphone experience like the iPhone does. I have been using blackberries for as long as I could remember and during its hay-days, blackberry torch must have been the best phone for mail and messaging which is the key for business world.
But the unmissable fact is that blackberry has put a price tag of $699. Yes, it costs more than the iPhone yet people are buying the phone indicating that they care for anyone who dares to make their phone unique. Samsung is making innovation in its smartphones and that is obvious in devices such as the s6 edge+ and the note 5 but blackberry is the dark horse that has nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Previously. The only thing that blackberry phones lacked was the apps and people stayed away from its phone for the same reason. Now the field has been levelled and as far as my personal opinion goes, blackberry is the only company that could challenge apple and holds the power to surpass it in providing smartphone experience.
