Samsung is making one hell of a super-phone, the galaxy s7. The leaked scores of the popular ANTUTU benchmark has revealed that the s7 will have raw processing power unlike any other phone. This is an impressive feat from Samsung considering the fact that the galaxy s7 will be roughly 2 times powerful than the note 5.

Samsung has already made the note 5 and the galaxy s6 the most powerful phones on the market despite the fact that they use the custom exynos 7240 chipset instead of the snapdragon 810. Now Samsung has created the ultimate SOC for its phones, the exynos 8890. This chipset has been touted as the CPU that is capable of running a mid-range computer. This SOC is built on the 14nm FinFET fabrication process and take up much less space than its competitor. Samsung built this SOC as a custom designed CPU that is based on the 64 bit ARMv8 architecture.

Samsung built exynos 8890 has shattered the ANTUTU benchmark scored and recorded a result of 103,692. The previous flagship SOC from Samsung, exynos 7420 recorded a score around 55,000. With such amazing raw power, all the eyes seem to be locked on it main competitor, QUALCOMM made snapdragon 820. This CPU is claimed by QUALCOMM as the fastest chip on the market. More details are yet unavailable but one thing is for sure, the snapdragon 820 and exynos 8890 will make an appearance in the galaxy s7 depending on the market that it is sold in.

Samsung is also expected to make 4 GB of ram available in this phone. Also making an appearance is the 3d touch like display that made the iPhone 6s special this year. With beautiful screen and a killer camera, the galaxy s7 is turning out to be one of the most anticipated, if not the most awaited phone for the coming year.
