Galaxy A8 (2016) could receive Nougat update

Three models of the Galaxy A8 (2016) devices could receive an update which will bring then the Android 7.0 Nougat. The three device model numbers are SM-A810S, SM-A810F/DS and SM-810YS. Also, they yet need to receive their own certification process which will ensure that there will be no bugs or performance issues with the update. Also, the three devices were certified in August 8th, 2017, and it is possible that they might receive the update in the next few weeks.

With the newest Android 7.0 Nougat update, the devices will not only get new features, they will also get some performance boosts. Among the most famous features, there will be the split-screen multitasking, which is quite famous around. There are also some improvements for the performance, which might hit the battery usage that will make it more durable, and will increase its lifetime. The Quick Reply feature is also listed, alongside many others, which are still to be putted on the list.

The Samsung’s Galaxy A8 (2016) features an Exynos 7420 processor, which also features a Cortex A57 CPUs and another four ARM Cortex A53 processors. With them, there is the Mali T-760MP8 GPU which is processing all the graphics that is needed. The size of the screen is 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 1920 x 1080 screen resolution. There is also 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. More information about the Nougat update might come up soon, and might also be released soon, as a sign of a surprise from the company.
