Well it seems that problems for Samsung just don’t go away and now there is yet another problem it now faces.

Due to concerns regarding defective devices and repair guarantees four Russian businesses stopped selling Samsung smartphones.

Russian carriers, PJSC MegaFon and VimpelCom have been joined by retailers Euroset Holding NV and Syyaznoy in this boycott of Samsung devices.

Now coming to these businesses, they operate more than eleven thousand stores across the country. An email from the carrier VimpelCom stated that the company has stopped buying devices because the fault ratio had reached seven percent which is much higher than competitor brands.

Moreover these businesses state that the Samsung market in Russia has declined by twenty five percent in recent months. On the other hand the retailer Euroset has stopped reordering Samsung devices since May.

In a reply sent by Samsung it stated that the company remains committed in providing the best possible products for the Russian consumers, although the South Korean giant did not give any statement about the relationship with Russian businesses.

Plus another problem for Samsung is that these businesses are now selling Apple and Lenovo and we all know that Samsung is still struggling with poorer than hoped results.

Another interesting thing is that this has been the first time that Samsung devices are having a higher fail rate compared to its competitors.

Mostly Samsung devices have had low fault ratio when compared with the competitor’s devices. Up till now it is still unclear what the issues with the devices are.
