The first commercial Tizen OS based phone Samsung Z (SM-Z910F) now passed FCC (Federal Communications Commission) certification. The FCC test also confirms that Samsung Z will support 850 MHz LTE mobile network (Band 5), HSPA / W-CDMA 1900/850 MHz, GSM / GPRS / EDGE 1900/850 MHz. It also includes WLAN (Wi-Fi) 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth and NFC.
FCC certificate ID A3LSMZ910F was issued to SM-Z910F on 20th June after clearing all required formalities.
Samsung Z is all set to release in several European markets including Russia, Poland, Germany, UK, France and Italy.
