Samsung to Launch an 18.4 Inch Tablet Called As “Galaxy View”

Samsung teases a giant of a tablet at its event in the IFA 2015 which introduced the gear s2 smartwatch. This tablet is different from the others as it houses a screen of 18.4 inch that is larger than most laptops that you can find in today’s market.

The galaxy view has been rumoured in the past months as Samsung has been working on a large screen tablet that will have a kick stand similar to the one found in the Microsoft surface pro 3.  The galaxy view come close on the heel of the apple event which is set to take place on sept 9th where it is supposed to introduce the iPad pro with a 12 inch display and a stylus that offers productivity features similar to the note 5’s s-pen.

Samsung sticks to its proven formula of enlarging the display to its limits to gain advantage over its rivals. The galaxy view’s main competitors will be the upcoming Microsoft’s surface pro 4 and the iPad pro that are touted as the devices for ultimate productivity and entertainment centre. It is unclear whether the galaxy view is targeted to the business users or the casual user but the Samsung in its teaser has said that the device can be used for media consumption with its large screen and the kick stand.

The tablet comes in dark black colour and with its large screen, the schools can take advantage in making the toddlers more creative and help them in the learning process. The rumoured specs are given below. All the information is not confirmed and has to be taken with a grain of salt.
