Samsung has come up with a new post on its official blog and the South Korean giant extols the virtues of its S Pen that has now been improved and refined for the Galaxy Note 5.
Samsung has even termed its new S Pen as the most technologically advanced pens of all time.
The post talks about the numerous different kinds of writing instruments that have been used throughout history, from calligraphy brushes to quills.
It then talks about the fountain pen which was used by history’s greatest writers such as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and then moves on to the ballpoint pens.
Finally the post comes to the S Pen which has been a traditional part of the Galaxy Note series of handsets since they were originally introduced by the South Korean company.
The original S Pen had started off as just a stylus but Samsung kept on improving it and the last S Pen used in the Galaxy Note 4 is a testimony to that.
It is capable of simulating finger touch, swipe gestures and tap without the user having to touch the display.
Moreover it even has a multifunction button with shortcut gestures in order to improve input time.
The South Korean giant points out that the S Pen is in its fourth edition and then ends the post with a teaser.
The timing of the post is really good as the world is just days away from Samsung’s next Unpacked event that will be held on the 13th of August where the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+ will be launched.
