The Bixby Voice, which is the Samsung’s new AI voice assistant, was released in South Korea with only a support of Korean language. Several months later, the voice assistant came alongside with the Galaxy S8 and the S8 Plus, which hit the US markets as well. The US markets are the only ones having the Bixby Voice with English support for now.
There are also millions of Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus devices which have their owners across the whole globe. The users are not that pleased with the price of the device though, which costs $900.
There have been not too many signs though, but are Samsung preparing for a global launch of the Bixby AI? So far, the company have made an official Contacts app today, and right under the “What’s new” section, they have listed “Bixby English global launch”.
Is this a new hint which may mean that Samsung are preparing the Bixby Voice for a global launch? Also, which devices it will hit, is still unknown, but it will include the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus for sure.
We will follow up any further confirmation and announcements from Samsung about the release of the Bixby Voice, but for now we should only take this with a consideration.
