Samsung May Have Plans for A Galaxy A4

a5-a7-india-6Samsung is one smartphone manufacturer who relentlessly releases new phone models into the world market. why not, it has resources to manufacture the phones and put them it various warehouses in most of the countries. The next smartphone from Samsung land could be a new phone called as the Galaxy A4 under the A-series of Galaxy smartphones.

The beans have been spilled by an import and export tracking Indian website called as zauba. Samsung has huge R&D setup in India and most of its phones go to the Indian sub-continent for testing and quality assurance purposes. The latest listing showed a smartphone with a model number SM-A430U. The Galaxy A3 and A5 have been refreshed for 2016 and have the model numbers A310F, A510F respectively.

The price of the device is given as INR 31,757, equivalent to $470. That’s quite a high price, almost in the area of flagships. While there aren’t any specifications, the phone is rumoured to come with a 5.5 inch full HD display, a Snapdragon 625 along with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory.

One interesting feature of the phone is the fingerprint scanner that will secure the phone as well as make it compatible with the Samsung Pay services.

Like the other phones in the series, the A4 is touted to house a uni-metal body with glass covering the front and back giving it a premium look. It will become a fingerprint magnet, though.

Along with the phone, Samsung has also shipped a data cable and a sim card. I believe that the phone could be housing a USB Type-C port, a first for Samsung phones. or else, why would Samsung ship a separate data cable?
