In the last few years, the smartphone world around has come quite diverse. Not only smartphones, but all types of other electronics also have diverse structure. If we take a look at any electronic such as a laptop for example, it has many different components from different companies.
In many cases, one company uses components supplied from its rival company in the competing products. One such example that we could see around us all the time is iPhone. Samsung and Apple are the biggest rivals in the world, yet Apple uses components made by Samsung in its products like iPhones.
If we take a broader look, Samsung is one of the biggest providers of different components to many other smartphone manufacturers. The list of Samsung’s customers includes LG, Apple, and many more.
Earlier, as we all know, Qualcomm was one of the biggest suppliers of components like chipsets and RAM’s. But last month, Samsung ditched Qualcomm by introducing its own Exynos chips that are far better than Snapdragon chips. Now Samsung is moving onto RAM production which means it will produce the best RAMs which could be used in leading flagship phones too - from Apple, LG, and other companies.
