Its seems that Samsung is not giving up on the Galaxy S5 as the company is preparing itself for yet another Galaxy S5 but this time it will come out with a twist.
A device bearing the model number SM-G903F has received the Wi-Fi certification. Now inside sources who have a better knowledge of this matter stated that the model is a smartphone which will be operating on 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands and the device will operate on 802.11ac Wi-Fi.
Apart from this the company has received the Wi-Fi certification on July 6th 2015. Now the interesting part is that the model number matches the model number for the Galaxy S5 Neo.
The Galaxy S5 Neo is said to match the Galaxy S5 from 2014 in numerous ways. The Galaxy S5 Neo will also have a 5.1 inch Super AMOLED display along with a Full HD screen resolution.
The device will also have a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Moreover just like the Galaxy S5 the S5 Neo will have a 16MP back camera and a 2800 mAh battery under its hood.
The Galaxy S5 Neo will however differ from the S5 in its new 64 bit octa-core Exynos 7580 processor and a 5MP front facing camera instead of the 2MP front camera on the S5.
The S5 Neo will also have the LTE-Advanced connectivity as opposed to the basic LTE connectivity and will run the Android 5.1 Lollipop. The device is said to be priced at $490.
