In the capacity of a technology writer, I have full confidence in myself. The latest gizmos and gadgets are things with which I am familiar. And although I may not be an expert, I have the skills and know-how needed to traverse the jungle that is science and technology. As humanity approaches singularity, the technological meltdown which is most likely to occur may have any and all sorts of consequences from the good to the bad all the way to the downright ugly.
