A new rumor published on Chinese social networking website Weibo suggests that Samsung is preparing to release a 12-inch Windows 10 tablet this year. Many fans will not be happy with Samsung’s decision to opt out for Windows10 instead of Android, which is the operating system of choice at this moment.

The report also suggests that the new tablet will have a 12-inch screen with a resolution of 3840 x 2400. Also for this tablet Samsung will go with Intel Core M chipset instead of its own Exynos processors. The tablet is rumored to have 4 GB of RAM. The device will have a thickness of 6.2 mm and will weigh around 600 grams.

This new tablet from Samsung will definitely give some tough competition to Microsoft’s own Surface Pro 4, which is expected to be released during the fall. There is no word from Samsung on the existence of such a device.
