T-Mobile and Verizon are finally releasing a software update that will bring Android 7.0 Nougat to the Samsung’s Galaxy Tab E tablet. The device started with Lollipop and was released 2 years ago.
Verizon’s firmware updates are releasing for the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 and the Tab E 9.6. It gives the refreshing new Samsung UX, improved battery management options and a much easier multi-tasking feature. The security patch is the one from August.
On the other hand, T-Mobile have not released firmware update for the Tab 9.6. Their only Nougat update is for the Galaxy Tab 8.0, and it brings similar new features and fixes like the Verizon’s version.
If you own any of the Galaxy Tab devices, you should be able to automatically get the firmware update. If not, you can check in your settings if your device is ready to receive the update.
