Alongside with the release of the beta version of the Nougat update on both Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, the company now spreads the list of the devices that will be next on receiving the update. Below is the list of the devices that will start with testing the Android 7.0 Nougat:
- Galaxy S6
- Galaxy S6 Active
- Galaxy S6 edge
- Galaxy S6 edge+
- Galaxy S7
- Galaxy S7 edge
- Galaxy S7 Active
- Galaxy A3 (2016 and 2017)
- Galaxy A5 (2016 and 2017)
- Galaxy A7 (2016 and 2017)
- Galaxy Note 5
- Galaxy Tab S2
It is also expected that the Galaxy J6 and J7 (2016) to receive this update, but first they must receive the update from Lollipop to Marshmallow. The Galaxy A tablets might also join the list. The only thing that remains unclear is whether the cheaper devices will be receiving this update in a near future or even at all.
It is also unclear when will the testing begin and when the update will come on the listed devices. Some might start receiving it now while some might take a few extra weeks. What remains is only to wait and be in touch with the reports that are coming out from Samsung.
