The Tizen powered Samsung smartphone, the Z2 got a new firmware today. The firmware is version 220.127.116.11 BQA2 (Z200FDDU0BQA2) and the package weighs a mere 27.4MB. However, right now it is only available in India.
This update brings performance optimizations and it should improve overall device stability. Beside that it brings the usual bug fixes. Also, Samsung pointed out that this update also has security improvements, so download the update soon.
Another big thing is the long waited WiFi Calling feature that this update unlocks. Currently it is available only over the Reliance Jio Network.
If you don’t get the automatic update prompt, be sure to check for this firmware manually. You can do this by going into Settings > About Device > Software Updates > Check for updates.
