Guest mode is one of the new features that separate Android from its competition. This new feature basically allows a single device to be used by multiple users.
This feature was actually available on Android’s 4.2 Jelly Bean but it wasn’t available to smartphones, only on tablets. With the Android 5.0 Google managed to bring a Guest Mode to smartphones as well.
However there was again a problem as Samsung decided not to include the feature on any of the devices that it has update to Lollipop.
Even the new flagship smartphones the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are missing this new and amazing feature. However it has been learnt that this new feature will be available on the Android 5.1 update for both of these devices and maybe even other Samsung devices.
So with this feature each user will be able to have his/her own personal space including the option to install their own apps, personalize their homescreen and even secure their setup with their fingerprint.
This Guest Mode feature is actually a useful feature and it’s good to know that finally Samsung is bringing this feature to its smartphones.
However up till now there is no news about when Samsung will actually start to roll out the Android 5.1 update for the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
