Samsung, as we all know, is Samsung. The biggest smartphone producer in this world is a bit slow in making its consumers happy. Samsung’s public relations department is a bit slow. It realizes the needs of its consumers a bit late as compared to others. Most of the companies release their products with all the latest updates already on them. Samsung does the opposite in the matter of providing the latest available software to its users.

Samsung is known for releasing it’s latest flagship smartphones with an older OS than the latest available in the market. This has happened since the release of the Galaxy S3 in 2012. Most recently, we saw this in the case of Galaxy S5 when it was released with Android KitKat on board while at that time, Android Lollipop was available in the market.

Now when Samsung has come to updating its devices, it’s making sure that all the devices receive the latest firmware one by one in a line. Not only Smartphones, Tablets are also getting updates and among Tablets, the latest flagship tablets will obviously be the first one to get upgraded to Android Lollipop.

Galaxy Tab 8.4 and 10.5 Slates will be the first tablets to get Android Lollipop. Well, don’t get excited because there is a little bit of waiting to be done. You might have to wait till the end of April until this update arrives. So till then, wait and enjoy whatever you have.
