This year’s consumer electronics show(CES) is turning out to be the biggest one in its history. Many exciting products are waiting tech geek’s thumbs up. But a few products that do not yet have a category are also eager to get some attention. From them are a few from the creative labs, a division of Samsung electronics that is infamous for its secretive yet innovative products.
- Welt
yes, welt is the actual term used by Samsung to describe a belt that is dubbed as a smart belt. According to the developing company, welt has the capabilities to measure the waist size of the user, the number of steps taken in a day and also the hours a user spends siting. It combines all this data and sends it to an accompanying device such as a smartwatch or a smartphone to analyse your information and suggest “a range of personalized healthcare and weight management plans.”
- Rink
This device is similar to the PlayStation move and the controller for the original Wii from Nintendo. This controller enables a user to play games in virtual reality. The motion controller has a range of motion commands and make the gaming experience in VR a pleasant one.
“The ability to intuitively control the game or content just by using their hands provides consumers with a much deeper level of mobile VR immersion,” Samsung writes
- Tip Talk
tip talk is a smart band that can attach itself to a smartwatch and has the capabilities to convert speech to text or vice versa. It also helps the user in listening to the sound being produced on the phone without any help of a headset or earphone. This can be done by touching the ear with your finger. This is an excellent concept that will help in listening to the calls without any disturbances even in noisy places.
All of these devices will be showcased in CES 2016.
