Earlier this year we saw that Samsung had introduced its own mobile payment service at the MWC 2015 in the form of Samsung Pay.

Now for all those who have been waiting for this feature well it seems that the time for its release is quite soon. Reports confirm that Samsung has launched a live beta test of the service in its home country of South Korea.

Well this beta testing of the service is a short run test as Samsung will only be putting it through its paces for just 36 days.

It seems that the company has already tested the service and this live beta test is basically just so that they get an idea of how the service will function.

Now for all those who live in South Korea and have no problem in being a part of the test need to know that Samsung will be recruiting beta tests tomorrow.

This will enable them to use the service at Samsung Card member stores from the 15th of July to the 20th of August. Apart from this the interesting thing is that Samsung will be rewarding beta testers who spend more than 50,000 won using Samsung Pay with 10,000 points.

If the tests go well that we will be experiencing the Samsung Pay later this year but it will be interesting to see it against the competition such as Apple Pay and Android Pay.
