Samsung Partners with Uber to Provide Ride Discounts to Galaxy S6 Owners

UberXThe renowned cab service Uber has announced today that it is entering a partnership with the Korean giant, Samsung as the cab service looks to increase its service.

Through the partnership the owners of Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge will be given ride discounts.

So now the owners of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge in the US just have to open the Galaxy Gifts offer widget and then download Uber’s app.

There users will find a $25 ride discount added to their accounts. Vice president of mobile at Uber, Fjeldsoe-Nielsen stated that the company is quite excited about this partnership with Samsung.

He explained that with Samsung’s reach and Uber’s global network in 300 cities across 56 countries will provide riders around the world an easy to go cab service with an added benefit of a discount and a touch of a button.

He also stated that Uber has been involved in such partnerships before as well with mobile providers such as AT&T and Verizon.

The San-Francisco based cab service has been for a long time now focusing heavily in international growth and such deals will greatly benefit the company. However the competition is quite tough but that is what makes a company perform better.
