The only problem with handsets whose batteries cannot be removed is that once the battery is dead the handset is dead too. So unless users don’t pay a hefty amount for the change of the battery their phone is as good as dead.
The iPhone users are quite familiar with this problem. However the good news for the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge users is that their battery replacement isn’t too expensive and will cost $45.
This news has been confirmed by a Samsung spokesperson who confirmed this. He explained that the replacement battery for both the handsets will be priced at around $45. Apart from that the battery can be replaced and fixed within just one working day.
Moreover the spokesperson also stated that if the phone’s battery drops below 80 percent of its initial level during the year of its warranty the company will be responsible to change the battery for free and the user will only have to pay for the shipping charges.
The $45 price tag of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge battery is much cheaper than Apple’s $80 for an iPhone’s battery. However this time the battery replacement is more expensive than the Galaxy S5’s battery which was for $30.
