Samsung recently filed trademark for a number of devices and today details about one of the entry-level phone the Galaxy J1 emerged.
Galaxy J1 is a low-end device going to be released in the US. The phone will have 4.3-inch WVGA display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of expandable internal memory, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter, Bluetooth 4.0 and 1,900mAh non-removable battery.
When released the phone will run Android 4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz interface. From the leaked press render it is also clear that the phone will be similar to many other Samsung entry-level phones. So you should not expect much from this phone.
As all the details of the phone are already leaked, we will not be surprised if Samsung will make an official announcement about Galaxy J1 in a week or two.
Earlier a Russian online retailer leaked the expected price of Samsung Galaxy J1. It is expected to cost around $170 (may be less).
