According to latest report from torrents and file sharing news site TorrentFreak Samsung is the biggest advertiser on piracy websites in Ukraine. The study was done by Anti-Piracy initiate “Clear Sky” which exposed that some biggest international brands put their advertising money in Ukraine’s two biggest file-sharing websites Ex.ua and FS.ua.

Clear Sky claims that as much as 10% of all the advertising revenue for these file-sharing websites comes from big international brands and out of that around half of that comes from Samsung alone.

After exposing the advertising money trail in piracy Clear Sky now demands an urgent audit of the advertising activities of several brands, which besides Samsung also includes Nokia, Canon, Carlsberg and Coca Cola.
