Samsung is discussing the possibilities for the acquisition of US electronics retail giant Best Buy. If this deal will go through Samsung will be in full control of Best Buy.
Once a front runner in electronics retail business, Best Buy is struggling to sustain in the present days because of steep competition in retail business. Best Buy will definitely benefit financially if the deal goes through.
According to Korea Times the Vice Chairman of Samsung Electronics, Lee Jae-yong met Bet Buy top executives in Korea to negotiate the deal further. Samsung already made a contract with Best Buy early this year to open Samsung Experience stores in around 1400 Best Buy outlets across US.
There is not much information about the outcome of the talks between Samsung and Bet Buy till now, but we will definitely know more about this deal in coming days.
