Latest reports about the upcoming Galaxy S8 suggest that the phone will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, which will be paired with 6GB RAM memory. On the storage side, it will have option that goes up to 256GB which will be a direct competitor to the new iPhone 7. Samsung is also expected to use their own Exynos 9 chips for Europeans and other markets.
Other rumors say that the device is expected to pack a whopping 4.200mAh battery with integration of Quick Charge 4.0 for fast charging. Let’s just hope it will not develop the same issue as the Note 7.
The Galaxy S8 is also expected to have two variants. One with a curved 5.1-inch 2K Super AMOLED display, and a larger one with 5.5-inch 4K display.
People are expecting Samsung to finally reveal the device at the Mobile World Congress 2017. If that’s true, we may see it on store shelves by April.
