The September launch date of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has been accidentally revealed by one of the company’s executive vice president Rhee In Jong. Rhee basically told investors at a conference call on Wednesday that the company’s Samsung Pay mobile payment system will be delayed and instead of July will be launched in September.

Now when the executive was explaining details about the Samsung Pay he stated that the service will be employed on Samsung’s next high end handset. Plus everyone knows that the next high end Samsung phone is the Galaxy Note 5 which will have a September launch. This will also support the current rumor that the Not 5 will be introduced at the IFA 2015 which starts on September 4th.

The last year’s IFA had seen the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Samsung Galaxy Note Edge being launched. Rhee during the conference also stated that the company is expecting that 15 to 20 percent of its smartphone users will use the Samsung Pay. The South Korean giant had purchased Loop Pay recently and this has given the company a huge advantage over its competitors in this market such as Google and Apple.

Unlike the other mobile payment services being offered, Loop Pay uses the magnetic stripe on the back of charge and debit cards. Now since nearly 90 percent of the retailers already have swiping devices that read these cards, Samsung Pay will be a huge success and will be ready to be used in over 10 million retail locations.
