The poster boy of Indian e-commerce, Flipkart, has introduced us to its great sale called as the “Samsung week” where you will be able to buy some popular mobile phones from the Korean tech giant at a rather low price tag. I checked out the mobile and found the price was indeed lower than the regular price from other online shopping destinations.
Some of the popular choices include the current phones as well as phones from 2 generations ago that are still relevant today. Freshly released Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are sold at their regular price, but you have the option to cut the price of the Gear VR headset in half if you buy it along with the handsets. The Note 4 is also getting a huge discount and is now available for Rs.29,000, a discount of Rs.7000 for a mobile that is still great and runs Android Marshmallow.
If you cannot spend a bomb on a phone, then Flipkart has some budget flagships for you. The Galaxy S4 and the S5 are also getting huge price cuts and will be available for Rs.11,990 and Rs.15,999 respectively. They are still some great phones and I plan to buy the Galaxy S5. The water and dust proof design along with fingerprint reader and the removable battery still make it a compelling smartphone and it run the latest version of Android too.
Other low-end phones such as the Galaxy On series phones are seeing a discount on their price tag that varies anywhere between the Rs.1000 -Rs.3000. The ultra-cheap Galaxy Core Prime is now 5,990 instead of Rs.7,990.
You might want to grab a handset before the deals expire tomorrow.
