Samsung is a slow upgrader of its mobiles. That is reflected in the update roadmap of its devices. Marshmallow has been available for a long time now and still most of the Galaxy devices have been stuck on the Android 5.1. The number of the device that Samsung releases every year is to be blamed for this delay. It has so many devices to update that usually the next generation of Android OS is already available while Samsung is preparing the current update for the device that run previous versions of the Android operating system.

Now that google has previewed it next major version of its mobile operating system, Android N. when can we expect to see it on the Galaxy devices?

As usual, the nexus family will be the first devices to receive this update once the final version is ready. One disappointing news is that even though the Note 6 will release shortly after google unveils Android N, Samsung might not have enough time to make the Note 6 run on the newest version. Samsung must have already started building the operating system for the Note 6 and it generally prefers to update it to the newer versions at a later stage.
