In 2014, Samsung lost most of its sales and market shares to its competitors, such as Apple, HTC, Xiaomi, etc. because the Galaxy S5 was not a worthy upgrade to its predecessor, Galaxy S4. The Galaxy S5 was criticized due to its repetitive.
Anyhow, this year, Samsung has launched its Galaxy S6, and Galaxy S6 edge, with an upgraded and refined design, supported with a sharp display and an ultra-fast hardware.
Many carriers have opened the pre-orders for buying the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 edge. Recently, we have been reported that Samsung has received pre-order of 20 million units of Galaxy S6 and S6 edge from around the world.
Considering the number of pre-orders and a great response from the international market, Samsung has speeded up the production of more devices, to cope with the demand of customers once it is launched on 10th April, this year.
Samsung has been getting a great response from the customers in Switzerland. Samsung claims that the pre-orders for the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge in the first week are four times higher than the pre-orders for their predecessor, Galaxy S5, for the first week.
