Many of you will not remember the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus. Well the Galaxy S5 Plus was launched as something of a mixture between the original Galaxy S5 and the Quad HD display toting Galaxy S5 LTE-A.
However this unique handset was only introduced to a handful of countries which included India. The device features the same hardware as the former but with a faster Snapdragon 805 processor under its hood.
Finally even this unique and limited handset has started to receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop update from Samsung in the Nordic region. In fact the device is getting Android 5.0.2 instead of the 5.0.1 which most of the other Samsung devices are getting. The update carries the build number G901FXXU1BOC4 and is currently rolling out over the Kies.
Apart from this the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has also started to experience the Lollipop 5.0 update in India. This means that Samsung has finally started to increase the availability of the update to various regions for all of its smartphones.
However the Korean giant is still neglecting its flagship smartphone the Galaxy S4 but even then everyone is quite happy with the availability of the update to these new devices.
