Earlier this week we wrote about Samsung’s intention to release a android powered mirrorless camera. Today we got hold of some official photos of Samsung’s New offering.
Samsung Galaxy NX is a fully featured mirrorless camera with Android at it’s heart. Equipped with a 20.3 megapixel sensor and 4.3 inch high definition display, there is no doubt that this will challenge other cameras in the market.
The camera is bigger than Samsung NX300 and going to be announced at the June 20 Samsung event.
Samsung announced Galaxy S4 Zoom yesterday and there is already a video review/preview of the not so usual smartphone from Samsung. PhoneArena posted a hands on video of Samsung’s super zoom smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom does not look like a smartphone at all from it’s apperance, rather it looks like a digital camera with phone functionality. The phone comes with the same specifications as the Galaxy S4 mini. It has the same 4.3-inch, 960 x 540 pixel, Super AMOLED screen as the S4 Mini, plus an unspecified 1.5GHz dual-core processor, and 1.5GB of RAM. There’s 8GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, GPS, NFC and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The Galaxy S4 Zoom also has 3G and 4G LTE connectivity, along with a 2330mAh battery, which will probably be needed if the phone is to make it through a tough day snapping pictures.
The camera specific specs include a xenon flash, HDR, optical image stabilization, ISO 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, and 3200 settings. The supported aperture length on Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom are f/3.1 to f/6.3. On video recording the camera can 1080p video in high-definition, and comes with Samsung’s Smart Mode, which offers various scene settings, plus it will suggest the best option if you’re not sure.

There are some new rumors that the next Samsung Galaxy Camera will be mirror-less and most likely be powered by Android OS. Galaxy Camera 2 is most likely to be announced on June 20 at the Premier Samsung event and will be available from July this year.
Samsung premier event is planned for announcement of Galaxy and ATIV devices.

Samsung unveils 10mm F3.5 Fisheye Lens for Samsung NX series, which weighs just 72 grams. So that the lens is about half the size and weight of conventional lenses. The viewing angle of the lens is at full 180 degrees, autofocus is of course supported.
Samsung NX Lens line-up (as of June, 2013)
The lens will be available in second half of 2013.
Samsung added user manual for their next mirrorless camera on official website. NEX1100 will carry almost identical spec as it’s predecessor. here’s still a 20.3-megapixel sensor, an ISO 12,800 sensitivity limit, a 3-inch LCD and 802.11n WiFi. Software also looks similar on the surface. As long as the manuals aren’t just placeholders, then, the improvements are likely tougher to quantify.
