The latest version of Android Operating System has been out since last year. From that time till now, only a handful of devices have received an update to the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop. Those who have received the update are quite lucky and really happy with the latest version of Android firmware.
Very few handsets have received the Android Lollipop upgrade. Only a chosen bunch of Flagship phones have received an update in the last few months. The mid ranged phones have almost all been left out of the Lollipop Party.
Samsung as we all know is one of the slowest smartphone manufacturer when it comes to rolling out firmware upgrades. It is mostly the last company to release an update as we have seen in the last few years, but whenever it starts rolling out upgrades it gives them off in masses to any smartphone that they want.
Same happened this year when Samsung started releasing, Android Lollipop upgrades for most of the flagship phones. All the top-notch Samsung got it. While all the latest phones are getting upgrades, one phone has been left out of the party. This lonely phone is Galaxy S5 mini, which will be getting an Android Lollipop upgrade in the next quarter of this year.
