With the release of Samsung’s new flagship smartphone the Galaxy S6 it now seems that the South Korean company will be refreshing its devices. Rumors have it that Samsung will be releasing an Active version of the Galaxy S6 sometime this year.
@upleaks has tweeted about this new Samsung device. The post by @upleaks also gives a model number SM-G890A which is quite similar to the SM-G870A, which if you remember was AT&T’s Galaxy S5 Active.
SM-G890A for AT&T(Galaxy S6 Active perhaps?)

However we cannot say that this news is one hundred percent true as it is mere speculation at this point but Samsung is pretty predictable about such things.
Apart from this there are no other details about this device but this new device could be more rugged that the Galaxy S6.
The new device could have a tougher frame or even be waterproof. Well nothing can be said right now, so let’s see what Samsung has for us in store.
