Galaxy A6, A8 and A9 are the new phones we can expect from Samsung soon. Yes, you read that right - we can expect this new lineup as Samsung Galaxy Alpha’s successors under the range of mid-end devices.
We can just imagine what Samsung is up to with the idea of expanding this family of Galaxy A phones (along with Galaxy A3, A5 and A7) when they trademarked them with USPTO. This indicates that there is really a niche for devices that have metal designs than what Samsung usually offers - plastic.
Well judging from the given names, we expect that the A8 and A9 could be the most powerful versions for this lineup. The Galaxy A6 may be positioned in between A5 and A7, so could be considered as a low-end device. We’ll see more of them soon as Samsung shows us more glimpse of their future expansion.
