After the mass Bluetooth certification on the new and upcoming Samsung phones, next in line is the WiFi. Now, after clearing the FCC and getting the Bluetooth certificate, the new Galaxy A7 has received a WiFi certification. It is issued from the WiFi Alliance (WFA) under the model number SM-A720X.
According to all rumors that have been out so far, the phone is expected to be powered by a new Exynos 7870 SOC chip with a 5.5” or 5.7” FullHD display. It will have 3GB RAM memory and two storage options that include 32GB and 64GB. Unfortunately, no external storage expansion. The phone will also feature a 16MP rear camera, as well as a 16MP front facing camera for those perfect selfies. Also let’s not forget the fingerprint sensor since it became standard on new phones.
This certainly is highly expected phone considering its specs and benchmarks. Speaking of benchmarks, this phone was seen on AnTuTu a while ago with some pretty decent scores where its hardware was first seen.
