Samsung Z1 Launched in Nepal for 7490 NPR


After seeing the successful launch of the Samsung Z1 in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh the South Korean giant has now announced the launch of the first Tizen based smartphone in Nepal. The Samsung Z1 has already sold over 1 Million units within the first 6 months of its release.

The benefit of the Tizen operating system is that it is a lightweight platform that basically gives the user great boot-up times and web performance. The smartphone is being powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor along with a 868MB of RAM. The device also has an internal memory of 4GB which can be expanded by using a microSD card.

The Samsung Z1 has been priced at 7490 NPR and will be available in the usual black, white and wine red colors. The device is said to be released on the Ncell 3G network and users will get up to 300MB of bundled 3G data free every month for a three month period.
