Samsung To Supply Apple Watch Screens

In a recent turn of events the South Korean giants LG Display Co. Ltd and the display making unit of Samsung Electronics Co Ltd will be supplying the screens for Apple Inc’s smartwatches.

According to a report which cites industry sources stated that LG Display will be the only supplier of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) screens for the Apple watches that will be seen on sale in April.

Apart from this the Samsung Display will also become a supplier for the next version of the smartwatch that is also expected to go on sale in early 2016. Moreover both these companies have declined to comment on the report and Apple could not be reached for any statement.

Some of you even might be aware of the event that Apple has scheduled on March 9. It has been learnt that Apple will be showcasing its new apple Watch at this event.

This watch by Apple is said to be equipped with many new features and services. This watch will enable its users to check their email, monitor personal health information and pay for goods and services at retail stores.

This watch represents Apple Inc’s first major new product introduction since 2010 when the company had launched the iPad.
