Samsung is going to release a low-end Tizen OS powered smartphone soon in emerging markets including India. We already have some details about this phone from past leaks.
A new report by SamMobile suggests that the smartphone has a codename, KIRAN and it will have some minimal features and specification. The screen will be a 800×480 pixel resolution WVGA TFT LCD display. The processor for example will be a dual core Spreadtrum SC7727S 1.2GHz. The phone will have 512 MB of RAM, 3.2 megapixel rear camera, 0.3 megapixel font camera. On connectivity front the phone will hav Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Wi-Fi Direct and a microUSB 2.0 port. SM-Z130H has dual-SIM support and FM radio
Though there is nothing much to say about hardware specification, it is good to know that the phone will run Tizen OS.
SamMobile also got hold of some screenshot of Tizen OS running on this device. The interface looks neat and simple. Some of the Android features from Galaxy devices are ported to this phone including Ultra Power Saving Mode and Private Mode.
