The time when smartphones were something new has long been gone. When smartphones came into our hands, we didn’t think that smartness could go any further. We thought that technology won’t go any further or made better. Smartphones brought internet into our hands and use of internet by any new devices isn’t needed.

Well most recently, there has been something new going on behind the dropped curtains on internet progression. There is research going on to make different devices in homes to get online.

Which means our appliances will get online and be controllable from anywhere. Plus we could check their status no matter where we are. Most recently, Samsung is the company which is putting in the maximum R&D into this field.

For this, they have hired a great number of engineers and developers who are working to make the concept of Internet of Things an everyday thing. The most recent and prominent of such hiring is of Dora Hsu, who used to work for Google before this. Hsu will act as chief platform officer, which means she will be the woman in charge for this project.
