Samsung Galaxy S6 may not have a removable cover, but it will feature something completely different, according to a new report published on Polish website Android.com.pl.
Anonymous Tipster, who is currently testing the device, revealed that Samsung Galaxy S6 would feature a proprietary connector on the back. This connector can be used to connect different sets of back covers to the Galaxy S6 to get advanced functionalities.
The new leak also gave some real life scenarios where this new connector will be used.
There will be one back connector for measuring blood sugar level and syncing it with S Health app. There will be a monochrome E-Ink display, which can be connected through the back connector. One can use the extra display for reading ebooks without loosing much battery.
Another back cover will be your fitness trainer, connecting to different fitness machines (bikes, treadmill, steppers, etc.). Samsung Galaxy S6 will also have a back cover to connect extra lenses to camera module.
Though this new report looks very unrealistic, but we think this has some weight. The main reason why we think this report may be true as Samsung has a big campus in Poland specialized in R&D and Test.
Let’s wait and hope Samsung will unveil something really spectacular at the MWC 2015.
