More leaks have surfaced regarding the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 5. This new leak about the new smartphone claims that it will have a USB Type-C port. Now how true this rumor is still to be seen but one thing is for sure that the technology behind USB 3.1 Type-C could make using smartphones much quicker and easier.
Type-C is capable of transferring data at double the speed of USB 3.0 and so moving files, photos and music on and off your smartphone will be a lot faster than before.
Apart from this the Type-C can also handle 20 volts and 5 amps of power, compared to the 5 volts and 1.8 amps that USB 3.0 supplies. This will make charging much quicker for the users. Moreover users can plug in a USB Type-C cable anyway.
Other rumors about the Galaxy Note 5 have claimed that the smartphone would support a 4K display but now a previous rumor has claimed that Samsung won’t do such a thing.
So according to some Samsung would fit a 2K display into the new smartphone. Then there are rumors that the Galaxy Note 5 would even support UFS 2.0 Flash memory which is the same as in the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.
Everyone is pretty sure that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note 5 at IFA 2015 which is being held in Berlin in September.
