Samsung to boost up Galaxy S8 production

Samsung expects to boost its production for the Galaxy S8. It is nearly 40% more boost compared to the Galaxy S7. Until now, the flagship’s initial batch was 12 million units, but now it got increased for 40%. Now, the total shipment should reach around 60 million units.

The number comes very close to the number of sold devices of the Galaxy S7, which was 48 million. The Galaxy S6 though, before that, achieved 45 million sales.

Samsung has also confirmed this information, for setting a number of 60 million devices for sale. The Galaxy S8 and S8 plus also promise to bring screen bumps, with a size of 5.8-inches and 6.2-inches respectively.

Just for a reminder, the devices are set to be unveiled at the MWC this year, which will happen on March 29th.
