After the full detailed release for the February security patch, Samsung started to bring it out to compatible devices. The Galaxy J5 (2016) and the Galaxy A8 are the latest handsets to receive this patch. The patch brings the February security update on-the-air for both of the devices, improving some performances and additional stabilities.
The firmware version of the update for the Galaxy J5 (2016) has the version number J510MNUBU2AQA5. The update has been also rolled out on the Galaxy J7 Prime and the Galaxy J5 Prime. Also, for the Galaxy A8 as well, the firmware version number is A810FXXU1AQA2.
Both of the devices are only receiving this minor update only for some security changes, nothing more should be expected. It also brings some feature fixes for some Android vulnerabilities that Samsung found on its software.
