Samsung Appoints New Marketing Head To Boost Sales for Galaxy S6

In 2011, Samsung took the spot of the leading Smartphone seller in the world from Apple. This great feat was made into a reality all thanks to the superb marketing that Samsung did for its products. The Galaxy S3 and S4 were amazing hits in the smartphone world and they took Samsung to a whole new level.

Earlier last year, when Samsung released its latest flagship smartphone the Galaxy S5, it didn’t go very well for Samsung. The Smartphone was a flop in the market. It’s not true that the phone wasn’t liked by the customers. The reason behind this was that the phone was unable to impress the customers.

The responsibility for all this comes down on the marketing team of Samsung. This was unable to make the customers aware what they will actually get from the new phone. The marketers were unable to convince the users to get up and grab a new Galaxy S5 from some shop.

As this year, Samsung is releasing its latest flagship the Galaxy S6, so it plans to avoid any blunders and marketing failures. Samsung wants the phone to be perfect and marketed in the most ideal manner.

To get this job done, Samsung has hired Lee Sang-chul as the marketing head. His predecessor suddenly stepped down from his job and didn’t clarify why. So for now, we could only hope all goes well for Samsung when it releases the Galaxy S6 and it becomes a market hit.
