Note 5 S-Pen Is Flawed but Samsung has the Solution

Huge numbers of reports are coming in that the note 5’s s-pen when inserted upside down can cause permanent damage to the internals of the phone creating panic among the new owners of the phone.

The fault, as said by the experts, lies with the Samsung. With a design flaw such as this, a simple mistake can turn out to be a very expensive with Samsung released a statement that the user should follow the usage manual strictly to avoid such mistakes.

The issue on its part is that when the stylus is inserted upside down, fits into the phone but the problem arise when you try to remove the s-pen. It kind of gets stuck into the slot provided and when user try to forcibly remove the s-pen, causes an internal damage that is permanent. The internal stylus detection mechanism gets damaged for life.

Samsung is to be blamed as the probability of inserting in the wrong direction is high because of perfect symmetricity of the stylus and the stylus slot offers no real resistance when the stylus goes in the wrong direction.

“We highly recommend our Galaxy Note 5 users follow the instructions in the user guide to ensure they do not experience such an unexpected scenario caused by reinserting the S-Pen in the other way around” Samsung says on its part.

If you have the new note 5, be careful while inserting the s-pen.
