Galaxy S9 to have a full-screen design

Galaxy S9 to have a full-screen designIn May 2016, Samsung has filed a design patent with KIPRIS for their smartphone, which is believed that it would be the Galaxy S9. The design comes with an edge-to-edge display that it is equipped with a sensor cut-out. Similar design is expected to be featured on the Apple’s so-called iPhone 8.

The renders of the Galaxy S9 are showing exactly what we are trying to say here. There is expected to be an Infinity Display with a full-screen covered design. The design will be interrupted only by a small notch at the top, making space for the speaker module, front-facing camera and the ambient light sensor.

The device is also said to feature same screen size, a 5.8-inch Infinity Display just like the Galaxy S8. The Galaxy S9+ though, is said to have the identical 6.2-inch Infinity Display to the Galaxy S8 Plus. All of this information was rumored in a recent report. The Galaxy S9 flagship devices should also sport an in-screen fingerprint sensor, something that Samsung want to implement on their devices as a new technology. They have also tried to do it with the Galaxy S8, but it seems like they were not yet prepared to do so.

Because the release date is yet far away, same as the reveal date for the Galaxy S9, we can’t say anything for sure about it. Many features are yet to be discovered as well as unveiled from the company itself, as the time comes closer. Rumors are also much expected, as we will track them each and every one of them.
