Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is the rugged variant of the just announced Galaxy S6. Though Samsung did not officially announce anything about the phone at MWC, but many new leaks come out everyday revealing more and more about the phone.

According to a new report Samsung Galaxy S6 Active will sport a 5.5-inch display with Quad HD resolution (1440 x 2560). This information is from the import tracking website Zauba, which tracks all the import information.

It seems that a total of 20 devices with the same number have been shipped from South Korea - 15 on February 20 and another 5 on March 7. The devices are listed as test and evaluation units and this is most likely the case. It is natural for manufacturers to send out pre-release samples to various partners (or its overseas offices) and while the export records do not convey a lot of information, there are a couple of hints at the device in question.

It is quite clear from the import data that the phone with model number SM-G890A will have a 5.5-inch display and it will have single SIM slot. It is hard to predict anything at this moment till we get some more details about the device.
