Samsung recently launched the capable On5 and On7 pro variant of its Galaxy smartphones in the Indian sub-continent. Though these were souped up versions of the 2015 handsets, they were sold in bucket loads nonetheless. But with multiple leaks, we are more than sure that Samsung is on the verge of launching the next generations handsets in the On series.
There are 2 variants of the phone. The first one comes with a Snapdragon chipset. Most likely the Snapdragon 430. This handset is intended for the Chinese market and the Exynos 7870 chipset powered phone will be for the Indian region. Both the On5 and On7 have visited TENAA for certification and Samsung is poised to announce them soon.
As far as the specifications are considered, the On5 (2016) will have a 5 inch HD display and will be powered by an octa-core processor. Samsung is packing 3 GB of RAM as well as 32GB of default storage into the handset. There is a 13/8 MP camera setup to take beautiful photos. The battery capacity is at 2600 mAh.
The On7 (2016) will have a 5.5 inch full HD display. Other specification remains identical to the smaller sibling. On7 is also rumored to have a fingerprint sensor. We cannot confirm that at this point in time, though. The battery capacity is also higher at 3,300 mAh.
Both the handsets will run Android marshmallow out of the box.
